Interpreting
An interpreter is a cultural and language mediator at a meeting, lecture or presentation who helps your voice be understood.
Are you organising a conference, presenting a product to foreign partners or conducting job interviews in a foreign language? Is there a language barrier between speakers at your event or meeting? Do you need help with organising an event that needs interpreting? Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered. Get in touch and we’ll take care of everything.
Simultaneous interpreting
If you are organising a conference, symposium, training, lecture or a convention, you probably need simultaneous interpreting.
Consecutive interpreting
If you’re organising a smaller meeting, job interviews or a factory visit abroad, you’re best set with consecutive interpreting.
Renting equipment for translation
If you’re organising an event or a meeting where only one or two attendees need interpreting, whispered interpreting (chuchotage) is the option for you.
What are the technical requirements for simultaneous interpreting?
Simultaneous interpreting requires special equipment: a soundproof booth, microphones, headphones (both for the interpreters and the attendees) and special audio mixing consoles. The equipment is set up by specialised technicians who make sure the interpreters have a clear view of the speakers and their presentations and are able to focus, and also that the attendees can listen to the interpretation comfortably. We would be happy to organise all of this for you!
What part does the client play?
No matter how experienced the interpreters are, they still need to prepare for an interpreting appointment. This is why it is vital that the client prepare the presentations, agenda, speeches and the like for the interpreters in advance. In addition, the client is responsible for covering transport costs, lunch breaks and accommodation for the interpreters, if applicable. Don’t worry, we will support you every step of the way!
